Posture Check
Stand comfortably with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
Let your shoulders drop. Shake them out gently if they feel tense.
Bring your flute up to playing position. Check that your head is level — not tilted down.
Make sure your elbows are relaxed and slightly away from your body.
Look in a mirror if you have one. Are your shoulders level? Is your jaw relaxed?
Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. This is your starting position.
Find a comfortable, relaxed playing posture that you can return to each time you practice.
"Good posture is not about being stiff — it is about being balanced and relaxed. Your body will thank you for checking in like this."
