Fingering Review
Hold your flute in playing position with good posture.
Look at your fingering chart and find the note B.
Place your left hand thumb on the back key and your left index finger on the first key.
Blow gently and play the note B. Try to hold it for 4 counts.
Now find the note A on your chart. Add your left middle finger.
Play A for 4 counts.
Go back and forth between B and A slowly. Say the note name in your head each time.
Play B and A clearly while knowing which fingers go with each note.
"Matching fingers to notes is like learning a new language. The more you practice, the easier it gets!"
